Dipping, submerging a piece in a glaze bucket, is the standard method for fast, even whole-piece coverage. Pouring covers large work and multi-glaze combinations that dipping cannot easily reach. Spraying builds up thin layered passes, used for gradients and layered glazes. Brushing applies glaze directly with a brush in multiple thin coats, used for small pieces, decoration, and touch-ups.
